Vacuum air dryers, OZO-VAC, are used in conjunction with venturi injectors while PSA dryers, OZO-CAD, are suitable for compressed air systems.
OZO-VAC, Vaccum air dryer
The OZO-VAC automatic dryer design is based on the principle of contacting humid air with an adsorbing material capable of removing the moisture from air quickly and effectively. The OZO-VAC contains two air drying columns.
Once one adsorbing bed is saturated with water the air flow is automatically switched to the sister column which has just completed its regeneration cycle. This simultaneous air drying and column regeneration continues throughout the operation of the dryer. The optimum cycle time of 5 hours is pre-set at the factory and is controlled by a timer located in the control box. Regeneration is done by heating the saturated media to 150 to 200oC automatically.
The OZO-VAC is suitable for ozone systems using venturi injectors.
OZO-CAD, Pressure Swing Adsorption air dryer
The OZO-CAD PSA air dryer, consists of two columns filled with humidity adsorbing media. The media adsorbs moisture from the incoming air stream under pressure. The resulting output stream has a dewpoint of -20C or better.
Once the adsorbing bed has completed its adsorption cycle it is automatically regenerated by releasing pressure on it. This liberates the adsorbed moisture of the media which is purged from the OZO-CAD through a blow-down solenoid valve. In the meantime, the inlet air is automatically switched to the sister column which has just completed its regeneration cycle. These air drying and column regeneration processes continue throughout the operation of the dryer. The optimum cycle time is pre-set at the factory and is controlled by a timer located in the control box.
The OZO-CAD is suitable for ozone systems using either venturi injection or ozone diffusers or a combination of the two.
